Types of Lizards
Lizards are scaly reptiles, and most of them have four legs and eyelids that blink. That sets them apart from snakes! Some lizards are small enough to sit in your hand, while the Komodo dragon can grow longer than a small car. Many lizards can drop their tail to escape danger and grow a new one later.
🔎 How to spot a lizard
Look for four legs, blinking eyes and ear openings on the sides of the head. If it has all three, you are looking at a lizard.
